Term 3 so far...

Happy New Year everyone! We can't believe it's 2015 already and we are well on our way into Term 3. :) Already this term has been very exciting and filled with different learning experiences. We started our Science topic straight away this term and investigated and learned all about magnets. We were able to design and take part in an exciting experiment to discover which materials were magnetic and which were not. We then used this learning to create our own Magnet Games! Miss Lochhead was super impressed with the creativity and difficulty of the games! Well done P3b! :) We have also had World of Work Week in the school where we heard from lots of different professions and job roles. We loved hearing from Sean's mum and the Police Officers as well as everyone else! Miss Lochhead was very impressed with the ambition that the children in P3b have! Some of us want to be Police officers, Teachers, Doctors, own their own Pet Shop and many more! Miss Lochhead believes in you all! Go for your dreams! :D As if it couldn't get any better, we have started our next AMAZING topic! The Vikings!! We got a very random video message from Eric who is stuck in the Vikings times and needs our help. We have been researching information for him on our iPads and laptops using our Class OneNote! This tool is amazing and we just love using it. Miss Lochhead has been blogging about it to the Microsoft community and they are all so impressed with what we can do at 7 years old! :D We look forward to sharing our learning with you throughout the topic by logging into GLOW and looking at the children's OneNote page and also at our open evening!
