Fun at the Library!

Primary 2/3 and 3a had a great time exploring the library and getting to know the staff.  They had a good rummage around the children's section and then got to hear some hilarious poetry by Roald Dahl.
Every child will be coming home with a membership form for the library....a great to develop their love of reading even more!

There was lots to see and do and the staff from the YMCA were fantastic!

Paired Reading

Today P2/3 had lots of fun with our new Primary 5 Reading Buddies!  Each Friday the classes will be meeting to read and hear stories from each other.

We met Tracey Corderoy and Steven Lenton who write and illustrate Shifty McGinty and Slippery Sam books!

We even learned how to draw one of the characters!
